Hospitality Homes

Each year thousands of people travel to Boston for specialized medical care. With them come family members and friends to provide love and support. For many the journey represents the last hope for a cure. Since 1983, Hospitality Homes’ unique lodging option has provided a caring and compassionate response to the emotional and financial challenges of these families, providing them with temporary, no-cost housing in volunteer host homes and donated furnished apartments. We have provided 170,000 nights of housing to more than 15,000 families from all 50 states and around the world, regardless of nationality, income; patient’s age, diagnosis, or treatment facility.

Mission: Hospitality Homes provides free short-term housing in volunteer host homes and donated apartments for families and friends of patients seeking care at Boston-area healthcare organizations. Since 1983, this unique home-away-from-home experience has brought a compassionate response as well as emotional and financial relief to guests in need.
